About Jonathan
Jonathan
has more than 30 years experience in the local motor trade. At the age
of seven Jonathan was taken to his father's car repair garage for the
first time and from then until leaving school he assisted his father at
weekends and during school holidays.
After Jonathan left school
he spent a short time working as a mechanic at a busy Hull car
dealership and as a technical sales advisor at Halfords before embarking
on a 2 year, full time, National Diploma in Business and Finance.
After successfully completing this qualification Jonathan moved to
Bradford where he continued his studies.
In 1994 Jonathan took
over operational control of his father's garage and three years later
took over completely and began the work of modernising the working
environment and expanding the services offered such as diagnostics and
air conditioning.
Jonathan was offered a part time lecturing post
at a local further education college in 1998 teaching motor vehicle
studies and continued lecturing both at the college and at a large
secondary school until 2004.
Since leaving teaching Jonathan has
concentrated on increasing his own skills base and has embarked on a
number of courses and gained useful and relevant qualifications to allow
him to keep up to date with the latest automotive technology.
